At UAFS, we believe a high-quality college education should be accessible to all, not just a privileged few. As one of Arkansas's most affordable universities, we're committed to helping students achieve their goals without taking on overwhelming debt.

Here, your education goes beyond the classroom. You'll gain real-world experience, hands-on learning, and mentorship opportunities that prepare for successful careers. At UAFS, education is about more than earning a diploma. It's about unlocking opportunity, transforming futures, and strengthening our region - one graduate at a time.

* Scholarship and grant awards vary based on individual eligibility. The $9,791 figure reflects the average total amount awarded to first-time entering undergraduates in the 2024-2025 academic year from all sources, including institutional, state, and federal aid.

** Tuition and fee savings based on a comparison of published 2024-2025 rates for full-time, in-state undergraduate students (30 credit hours per year) at public four-year universities in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley. Data reflects publicly available tuition and fee schedules as of May 2025.

New: UAFS Tuition and Mandatory Fee Guarantee

We're breaking down financial barriers to help Arkansas students achieve their academic dreams while keeping student debt to a minimum. With the UAFS Tuition and Mandatory Fee Guarantee, we'll cover any remaining tuition and mandatory fee costs after grants and scholarships are applied.

But it doesn't stop there. Those whose institutional aid - like merit- or performance-based scholarships - exceeds the cost of tuition and mandatory fees can use the extra funds for other essential expenses, such as living on campus, purchasing books at the campus bookstore, or buying a meal plan.
