Our Competitive Teams
Our teams are held to a high standard of excellence in both the academic and competitive realms. We strive to nurture both performance and a friendly atmosphere where each member of the program is present to help each other grow in addition to themselves. Our team members must maintain a 2.25 GPA or better to remain on the team in addition to a strong performance in active competitions
Coaches
Our team coaches, Coach Cody Holt and Dr. Nicki Stancil, work together before, during, and after practices and competitions to assure the best possible atmosphere and guidance to all members. With a strong focus on the "Right" team they move the program forward to achieve victory in competitive gaming as well as professional academics.
Our Video Games
At UAFS we hold a fluid list of competitive games we participate in. With various seasons and schedules there is always room for more. As of Fall '22 the current roster of games contain the following: League Of Legends, Valorant, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Pokemon.
Room & Equipment
Maintaining a competitive team requires not only strong teams, but powerful computing power in order to succeed. In doing so the team is provided top of the line computers, keyboards, mice, and more. In addition to these attributes the physical state of the players is also a focus of the practice space. With access to healthy drinks and snacks the team is able to maintain a mindset ready for action.
