Our concentration in economics provides the necessary courses in intermediate micro- and macroeconomics to continue to graduate school or secure a rewarding career as an economic analyst or advisor.

Certificates of Proficiency

This 9-hour program provides you with foundational coursework in financial statement, analysis, capital budgeting, and advanced financial management. All hours earned with this credential transfer into the BBA program. Courses must be completed with a GPA of at least 3.0.

This 9-hour program provides you with foundational coursework in investments, principles of portfolio management, and derivative securities and markets. Designed to provide skills necessary to analyze securities, construct portfolios, and generate security trading and order strategies. Available to all UAFS students. All hours earned with this credential transfer into the BBA program. Courses must be completed with a GPA of at least 3.0.
