UAFS Rings in the New Semester with a Week of Events
Students return to the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith to begin the spring semester on Tuesday, January 16. Along with reconnecting with friends, collecting class syllabi, and perfecting routes from class to class, students will have the first week back full of events to celebrate their return.
Spring Back Week is a way for students to meet with other students, faculty, and staff through fun and engaging events. Dyllan Newell, the coordinator for student activities and civic engagement, said he looks forward to the week and its benefits to current and new UAFS students.
“Spring Back Week is a chance for students to hit the ground running in the spring semester. The CACE (Campus and Community Engagement) office and countless other organizations on campus host events to help reacclimate students to campus life after a short winter break,” Newell explained.
