As Assistant Vice Chancellor for Marketing at the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith, Chris Kelly leads the university’s comprehensive marketing strategy—driving brand awareness, supporting student recruitment, and advancing institutional growth. A seasoned marketing professional with more than 25 years of experience in marketing and communications, Kelly brings a proven record of leadership in higher education and community engagement.

Kelly is active in the Fort Smith community serving on the board of the Good Samaritan Clinic and currently as President of the Rotary Club of Fort Smith.

Before joining UAFS, he served as Associate Vice President for Marketing and Communications at Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. He holds both a master’s and bachelor’s degree in Communication from Pittsburg State University, as well as an Associate of Arts degree from Independence Community College.
