Dr. Brooke Gray is the director of the Associate Degree Nursing Program at UAFS. She has been a nurse for 21 years with experience in women's health, maternity and obstetrics, and home health. She began her career in nursing education in 2014 and has been a nurse educator for the LPN, BSN, and R.N.-BSN programs, and now the ADN program, teaching a variety of nursing courses. She graduated with her DNP in nursing education in 2025.
Dr. Gray is chair of the ADN faculty council and has experience in curriculum and program development. She has completed multiple research projects on the topics of simulation in nursing education, barriers for male nursing students, and test anxiety reduction strategies for nursing students and has presented research findings at local, regional, and national levels. She has collaboratively authored several articles alongside her professional peers.
