How do I register for the ACT Residual Test?

  • You must be enrolled or currently in the process of enrolling in order to take the ACT Residual test. You are required to call the Testing Center at 479-788-7682 in order to get your name placed on the test roster, and pay the Cashier’s Office a $35.50 dollar fee.

 

How often can I take the ACT Residual Test?

  • There is a 60-day waiting period between each Residual test session that you attend.

 

How many times can I take the ACT Residual Test?

  • You may only take this test 12 times before enrolling in college courses, even if you took the National ACT and the ACT Residual tests.

 

How can I obtain a copy of my ACT Residual test score?

  • The Testing Center can only provide you with a preliminary/unofficial ACT Residual score report. Your official score will be sent to the Admissions Office once your score has been verified by ACT. You are required to order your National ACT test results from ACT (www.act.org). Please complete the score request form for a copy of your ACT Residual test score. You are required to pay a $5.00 dollar fee at the Cashier's office. You may fax the score request form to the Testing Center at 479-424-6662.

 

How can I obtain a copy of my COMPASS score results?

  • You are required tobring a current driver’s license or school ID to the Testing Center in order to get a copy of your score(s). Otherwise, you can fax a written request to the Testing Center at 479-424-6662. The request must include your name, address, phone number, the name of the test you are requesting, and a copy of your photo ID. Please complete the score request form and pay the Cashier's Office the score report fee of $5.00.

 

How do I register for the PRAXIS exam?

  • You are required to register with ETS at www.ets.org. ETS’s toll free number is 1-800-257-5123. The test is offered at UAFS in January, April, and November. Examinees report to the Math/Science building room 206.

 

How do I register for the PSB exams?

  • You must complete a registration form and pay the test fee at the Cashier’s Office. You must bring your registration form and a copy of your receipt to the Testing Center and your name will be placed on the roster. If you live out of town, fax your registration form to our office at 479-424-6662 (attn: Testing Center) and send in a payment to the Cashier’s Office (788-7060).

 

How many times can I take the PSB test?

  • You can only take the PSB test once a year (annually). The scores are valid for 2 years.

 

What do I need to do if the PSB test sessions are full?

  • You will need to contact PSB via email to locate an alternative test site. The representatives at PSB prefer to be contacted via email at info@psbtests.com.

 

How do I register for a NLN PAX exam?

  • Test candidates are required to create a user account, complete an on-line registration form, and make a payment at www.nlnonlinetesting.org. The toll free customer service number for NLN is 1-800-732-8656.

 

How many times can I take the NLN PAX Exam?

  • If you pass the test, you may not test again until the next school semester. If you fail the test, there is a 3 month waiting period before you can re-test. You may re-test only once during the semester in which you took your first test.

 

When is the NLN PAX exam offer, and how long are the test results valid?

  • You may only take the NLN on this campus during the spring semester. Your test scores are valid for 2 years. Your most recent test score is taken under consideration for the program, even if your previous score was higher.

 

Do I need to already be a current student at UAFS in order to be eligible to take the NLN PAXexam or PSB test?

  • No, you do not need to already be a student at UAFS in order to take the NLN PAX exam or the PSB test. It is best to test as early as possible.
