General Information
Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) - Basic is an introductory course in emergency medical service systems and the basic principles of emergency care.
Admission Requirements for EMT - Basic
- Meet admission requirements of the University.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 18 years of age at time of National Registry/State testing.
- Hold current American Heart Association (CPR for the Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (BLS for the Professional Rescuer) CPR certification.
