Where we are located
The UA Fort Smith Dental Hygiene Clinic is located in Room 136 of the Pendergraft Health Sciences Center near the corner of Kinkead and Waldron.
Services provided
Students provide services to the public under the direct supervision of dental hygiene and dental faculty.
Students are evaluated at various steps throughout the appointment; therefore, appointments are scheduled in two- to four-hour blocks. More than one appointment may be necessary to complete all dental hygiene procedures. The number of appointment times necessary to complete the process varies and depends upon the needs of the patient. Dental radiographs are included in the services provided at the Dental Hygiene Clinic.
How to make an appointment
During the fall semester, the clinic operates on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:00-5:00. In the spring semester, the clinic operates Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:00-5:00 and Friday from 8:00-12:00.
