Throughout its 83-year history, the institution known today as the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith has benefitted from the generosity of its alumni and friends. In fact, it is private support alone that constitutes the University’s “margin of excellence,” that funds its relentless pursuit of excellence.
Individuals and businesses give to the institution for a wide variety of reasons and in a wide variety of ways. The kinds of gifts they make are just as diverse, ranging from planned gifts to cash to real estate and gifts-in-kind.
