Read This! Forgiveness with Sunflowers

In his book The Sunflower: On the Possibilities and Limits of Forgiveness noted Holocaust survivor Simon Wiesenthal reflected on his inability to forgive an SS soldier when he was asked for forgiveness. The book collects the thoughts of many individuals on the concept of forgiveness and is being used as the community book read by the UAFS College of Languages and Communication. Join us to look at your own ideas of forgiveness through reading and sharing together.

This class uses the many facets of movie making to explore language, expand vocabulary, improve listening skills and experience idioms in the context of a series of films focusing on American culture.
