CLL- Knitting for Beginners - -Alison Shelton- Designed for those that have no prior knitting experience, this course will teach you the basics of beginning knitting. Needles and yarn will be provided for the first class and then student must purchase their own supplies. Create simple items but learn the building blocks to bigger projects. CLL - Intro to Word - -Emily Treadaway- From business letters to yard sale posters to address labels, learn to create Word documents for every facet of life. Students will learn hands-on how to enter and edit text, format documents and use cut/copy/ paste. Find efficiencies in toolbars and shortcuts. It is preferred that students already have some computer experience or have taken our "Computer Basics" class as a prerequisite. Student & Campus ActivitiesKappa Sigma's Teens For Jeans - Kappa Sigma is collecting used jeans. Please bring your used jeans and place them in the collection bins around campus from 8am-5pm. This will run from January 16th-February 12th.
SAA Cares - Boxes will be set up around campus (Campus Center, Health Sciences Building, Baldor, and Alumni Office) for students and alumni to drop off new or gently used clothing to support the Golden Rules Clothes Closet. The boxes will be set up from Feb 6-10 and checked daily for any clothes items. Sponsored by the Student Alumni Association.
