Vice Chancellor for Finance

Mr. Darrell Morrison began his work as the UAFS vice chancellor for finance in September 2011. Morrison came to Fort Smith from Magnolia, Arkansas, where he served as the vice president for finance at Southern Arkansas University.
In addition to his several roles at SAU, Morrison was a field auditor for 15 years in increasing levels for the Arkansas Division of Legislative Audit. He earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Henderson State University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
As the vice chancellor for finance at UAFS, Morrison is responsible for UA Fort Smith's financial operations, including budget, finance, procurement services and payroll, as well as the contractual operations of UA Fort Smith's Lions Bookstore and the University's dining services.
In addition to his UAFS duties, Morrison serves on the board for the Southern Association of College and University Business Officers (SACUBO) as second vice president. He is also the current president of the Arkansas Association of College and University Business Officers (AACUBO).
